Multilayer With Dampening
Lab tests showed that wood sidewalls have a more balanced flex curve than conventional ABS sidewalls without sacrificing stability! Völkl's wooden sidewalls consist of several connected layers. A stunning visual feature! A complex special impregnation process protects the wood against moisture and the effects of Mother Nature. All wooden sidewalls feature additional urethane sidewall dampening on both top and bottom. Brand new: the lightweight dampening layer made of shock-absorbing PU on top of the edge. Sidewall Materials: dark nutwood and light ash tree.
