Manufacturer's description
Developed in conjunction with Silverton Mountain and tested in Colorado's rugged San Juan Mountains, this deck craves big lines and burly terrain. Its chatter proof when bombing open steeps, but agile enough to navigate tight trees and narrow chutes without flinching. Moderate taper and a softer nose provide float for untouched powder fields, while a stiffer midsection and tail lend stability and control in unpredictable big mountain conditions. No wonder the split version won Backcountry Magazine's 2010 Editor's Choice Award and the solid was named a Snowboarder Magazine "Best of Test" by Rocky Mountain retailers. Last season's re-design included a rockered shape and a surf-inspired nose to keep you from augering into the deep stuff. For 2011 we've made some slight modifications – stiffening the tip and tail for greater stability at speed and slightly reducing the stance offset for better all mountain functionality. Now this deck is truly dialed for whatever the mountain throws your way. Solid and split versions available.
