For those who follow us, some brief info on how we're doing. May is almost over, and we're finally back from our winter destinations. It's been a great season, better than the previous one, which was in turn better than the one before and so on :) So winter is finally over.

Normally we spend less time keeping SnowDB in winter time and more time riding, but it changes in summer. This winter riding took a little bit too much and many collections left unprocessed. But as you could notice, for the last month we added most of the important stuff to our database. There's a few more that we plan to add, and then we're planning to switch to working on some significant improvements to our service.

Lately, when using SnowDB ourselves to choose a snowboard, we noticed that just comparing measurements is often not enough. There's many more important features to keep in mind, like type of base, type of woodcore, inserts or "channel", simple edges or Magne-Traction and so on.. This is, by my opinion, is #1 feature that we need to implement in the next, so called "SnowDB 2.0".

Another important thing to improve is integration with stores. The one that is in use now has a few disadvantages, such as broken links (sometimes) and so on.

So it's gonna be a summer full of interesting work!

You might also noticed that finally you can add comments to our blog posts. So far, we've only received a few emails from the people who had positive experience using our service, but we'd like to hear more from you. So please go ahead and write a few lines, whatever you think of our service and what you see it.
