One complete carbon lower weave and longitudinal strips. Carbon fibers in the lower layer make the board stronger and livelier. The carbon fibers' tensile strength allows for very short response times. High-quality Völkl Carbon also incorporates lengthwise fiberglass strips. This weave considerably enhances the board's torsional stiffness, pop and liveliness. Depending on the required riding characteristics and the amount of carbon, Völkl has developed four different POP Carbon inlays.
