The legendary swedish guitar brand Hagström and Nitro snowboards have entered into an exclusive cooperation, unique to both the snowboard and the music business. Hagström guitars, founded 1958 and played by artists like Jimmy Hendrix, Frank Zappa and today by artists like Millencolin, Mando Diao and many more have teamed up with Nitro to issue an exclusive special edition snowboard, the Ultra Volume and a matching version of Hagström’s guitar model Ultra Swede. Nitro rider and musician Jonas Hagström explains: “When I got contacted by Hagström guitars and they asked if I want to design a guitar in collaboration with Nitro Snowboards I couldn’t believe my ears! I have been riding Nitro and playing the guitar for almost 15 years and suddenly I get the opportunity to combine my two biggest passions. That’s simply amazing!” Jonas wanted the board and the guitar to be one unit. The guitar on the board covers part of the board graphic, while that missing part of graphic shows up on the guitar. The two are not complete without each other!
